Litecoin
Litecoin is a peer-to-peer Cryptocurrency created by Charlie Lee in 2011 as a “lite” version of Bitcoin. It is based on an open-source protocol and offers faster transaction times and a higher maximum supply compared to Bitcoin. Litecoin utilizes a different hashing algorithm called Scrypt, which allows for more efficient mining.
