Algorand (ALGO)

It was founded by Silvio Micali, a Turing Award-winning cryptographer, in 2017. Algorand uses a unique consensus mechanism called Pure Proof of Stake (PPoS), which enables fast transaction processing and high throughput while maintaining decentralization.
