Hidden Load

Hidden Load refers to the portion of a load in a system that is not immediately visible or apparent but still affects the overall performance and efficiency. This can be related to energy consumption, mechanical load, or other operational factors that are not directly observable.

For instance, in a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system, hidden loads might include heat generated by electronic devices that are not taken into account in the initial design, leading to increased energy costs.

In another example, in project management, a hidden load could refer to unanticipated tasks or challenges that arise during the project lifecycle, which can cause delays and increased resource allocation.
